Sourced from FUNCEME, the state’s official research institute specializing in meteorology and water resources, it offers reliable and timely updates presented in a clear and professional manner. Currently operational, the app receives ongoing development to enhance user experience. All features and updates are freely available, ensuring widespread access.

ITS COMPONENTS:

• Previsão (Forecast) - Provides a three-day weather outlook for selected cities within the Northeast of Brazil.
• Tempo Agora (Current Weather) - Offers real-time weather conditions.
• Radar - Displays animated images from weather radars; initially featuring Fortaleza’s radar, with plans to include Quixeramobim’s radar in future updates.
• Satélite - Presents animated GOES 12/CPTEC satellite imagery covering the Northeast region.

The application delivers regularly updated meteorological data—including forecasts, observations, radar, and satellite imagery—all sourced from FUNCEME. This ensures high-quality, authoritative information is readily available at your fingertips.

SOURCE OF INFORMATION:

The data originates from official governmental agencies, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness. The interface is designed to present information clearly and attractively, facilitating quick comprehension.

MORE DETAILS:

• Weather forecasts extend up to three days for all 184 cities within Ceará and key locations across the Northeast region.
• Local observations from approximately 70 stations—covering precipitation, temperature, humidity, radiation, wind speed, and direction—offer granular insights within Ceará State.
• Radar and satellite imagery are optimized for rapid transmission to devices; users can zoom as needed. Each image includes timestamp labels for reference.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM:

The project is led by a multidisciplinary team comprising computer scientists with BSc degrees, meteorologists holding PhDs, and engineers also with PhDs, committed to continuous improvement of the platform.
